Question
My boyfriend and I just found a salamander. We put him in 10 gallon tank with gravel, a good sized rock, and a log. We also set up a bubbler for it in there to. we fill the tank like 30 percent full. so that the salamander could get on the rock and breath. we have no idea what to feed him or how high the water can be or anything. Fill us in on alot of infomation about our salamander. we found him in a creek under a rock. Have no idea what kind he is or anything. PLease help.

You are actually in the fish section, and this is pretty much out of my expertise. However, I would recommend simply putting him back where you found him. Most wild animals are not used to controlled conditions and will die quickly in captivity. Instead consider buying a lizard that has been captive bred and is easy to take care of, such as a leopard gecko, which is a desert lizard that can also live comfortably enough in a ten gallon tank - and doesn't need half a tank of water either.
