QuestionHi Ron
wondering if you can help;
I have a Chinese algae eater - who this winter (AUS) has started looking very emaciated.
She looks like she is eating... (flakes and loach pellets)
Her coloration is slightly mottled with a brownish tinge.....
Water quality looks good - nitrates and ph...
Any suggestions?
many thanks
Terry
AnswerHi Terry,
Whenever a fish is slightly "off", I do a lot of water changes, no matter whether the test
readings are fine or not. I find that to be the most effective way to get the fish healthy again.
So, I would change 25% of the water now, then do another 25% in a couple of days and maybe another 25% a couple of days after that.
