Pacu Stressing

Question
Please help me, my pacu that I have had for about four years seems to be going through a lot of stress for some reason. He has red spots on his lips and his gulls seem more colored than usual. I have not tested the water but have emptied the tank and refilled it. I really don't want to loose this fish, believe it or not he is a part of the family, that we talk to every day.

Hi John,
  In general you shouldn't change all the water at once.  It is far better to do regular partial water changes.  I strongly recommend changing 25% of the water once a week, every week to keep your fish happy and healthy.
