Question
i have been breeding two red honey gourami's they made the nest they laid their eggs but now the nest is gone an the eggs have been left floatin will they still hatch its my first time breeding so im not sure whether to leave them or take them out would appreciate it very much if you could help me out by answering this thanks

Answer
Hi Lee,

Usually the eggs are fertilized by the male and then placed into the bubble nest.  If the nest is gone (did you remove the parents and turn off the filter or use a weak sponge filter?) the eggs probably will not hatch.

I have included a link for you to attempt this again and have successful fry.
