Crowntail Betta Wont Eat

Hi Lynda, I am following the instructions you gave me earlier--I will go out and buy a larger tank for Blue.  I changed the water in his tank to tap water versus bottled water per your instructions (1/4 at a time).  He seemed to like that and swam around quite a bit.  He has not wasted in over a week though and won't eat the pea I gave him. You mentioned antibiotics.  What should I give him?  Thanks for your help.  Debbie

Hi Debbie,
Kanamycin is very good for Swim Bladder Disease, but it is hard to find.  If you cannot find it, buy Tetracycline or Furan 2.  If caught in time, this is curable, but do not wait, as it can damage his kidneys, and then there is no cure.  Follow the directions on the package.  
I hope Blue pulls through, poor little fellow.
