intergration of goldfish

Hi
I have a goldfish in one tank which is approx 8 yrs old and 2 in another tank 6 yrs old I am wanting to integrate them into one tank. Is this possible or will the two fish attack the single one? Strange question but I do not want to risk loosing the fish as they are my sons pets

Hi Barrie,
 Unfortunately there is no way to know for sure without trying it.  The key factor is the size of the tank that they are going into.  Is it large relative to the fish, i.e., will there be space in there for each fish to have its own space or will they constantly be running into each other (a recipe for problems)?
