QuestionHello again, I am sorry to bug (this is my 3rd question) BUT... I have 3 goldfish and 1 suckerfish for over a year and they have been perfectly healthy but then 2 weeks ago i bought a little black guy(goldfish, i think)from wal-mart and then my fish started "laying" on the bottom of my tank (all day long) and floating vertically so i got scared and flushed the new guy. Then like 2 days ago they started diving into the rocks and into the walls of the tank (like they were trying to get out) and now today i can see little "bubble like" spots on them, the only one whos acting like himself is the suckerfish (Mike) and he's always been a little sketchy...do you know what is happening????? Is there anything I can do to help my fishy friends????? Thanks
AnswerHi Rachael,
I do not recommend that you buy fish from Walmart. I encourage you to buy your fish from a fish store.
As for your immediate problem, it is possible that your fish have ick. Do they have little white spots on them, that looks sort of like a dusting of icing sugar? If so, there are many anti-ick remedies available. I use one called Quik-Cure or Rid-Ick.
