Cichlid Fry Switching

Question
Hello, I was wondering if you or any who you know has ever
tried swithcing the fry of two different Cichlid pairs that
are from the same species. If they have I would really like to
know if the parents adopted these new fry or ate them.

I have never heard of people trying it, so I tried it myself a few times. 90% of the time, the new parents eat they fry, but the other times they actually station the fry around their own, probably so their offspring are in less danger than the new ones.
Very interesting, but if you're trying to raise fish I would not recommend it.
