Question
I have 4 mollies and a albino bottom feeder. The bottom feeder died ( don't know how) and the nitrite levels has gone to 10.0, the fish seem fine and I am adding  PRIME water lotion and sea salt. I did a water change for 2 days and pet store said to stop doing water change for a few days and come back. Don't know what to do???

Answer
Hi Harrison,
You should continue to do water changes and switch pet stores.  There is no reason to not do a water change. When catfish (your bottom feeder) die, they put a lot of toxins in the water and you need to clear that out.
