I don't have anything sharp in the tank just a air stone ans a plant and also a fake shell, the tank is a 29 gallon and i also have a rybukin ans two plecostomus as well. Now its eye is sort of smashed and white and red and i can't figure out how it got hurt. the name of the fish it Tremor any way i don't know what to do it just seems to get worse and i'm going to take out all the stuff except the gravel. Your my final hope please help.

Answer
Hi Amanda,

Your fish are heavy poopers.  Plecos are actually worse than goldfish, if you can believe that.  What this boils down to, is a 29 gallon tank can't house this many fish anymore, because they grew.  You need to rehome your plecos to continue forward.

I'd trade them in for a nice pair of corydoras.

:)

Clean the tank thoroughly.  Wash out gravel.  Drain and replace 75% of the water.  Wash out the filter pads.

Happy fish-keeping.
