Hello Tabitha, Nutrafin bettaplus will not cure fin rot. I would recommend going to a pet store and purchasing Melafix from the company API. Make sure that it is for treating bacterial infections and not fungal infections. It will be in a blue bottle. The directions are simple on the bottle and it is one of the products I use for fin rot. The nutrafin bettaplus is a water conditioner. That means that it helps dechlorinate new water and is healthy for any water changes you do. It is not a medication for your fish.
