I am interesting in raising pigeons. Can the eggs be hatched using a bantam hen? Where do you find eggs?

I would not use a bantam hen or any other chicken to hatch pigeon eggs. Pigeon eggs should only be hatched by pigeons since they are much smaller and more delicate than chicken eggs. I do not know of anyone who sells pigeon eggs, since they can be difficult to hatch on your own. Why not purchase a pair of pigeons and let them raise their own young? What breeds of pigeons are you interested in?
