young pigeon

when can i free a young pigeon? he still has wisps of yellow but is fully fledged and eating himself although not a lot he has become agressive so we stopped hand feeding

Hi Sue,

If you can purchase a bag of pigeon/dove mix from a pet shop or feed store, that would be great. If not, you can buy a bag of wild bird seed and parakeet seed and mix them together. Also, here is a list of what is typically included in pigeon feed:
