why didnt they come home.

Sunday i let 3 of my pigeons out just to see how they would go instead of letting the lot out and possibly losing them. They took of and circled the house a few times then took off then i didn't see 1 of the pigeons until late sunday afternoon it circled the house and then flew away, the other 2 took off and i haven't seen them since. How come they didn't come back within half an hour or so?

I am sorry they didn't come back! How long have you had these pigeons? If they have not been out flying before, it is quite possible they have gotten lost. Perhaps they found a feral flock to join up with. I would just give them time. They might return in a day or two. In fact, this happened to one of my pigeons that accidentally got out. It didn't come back until a few days later! Just keep a watch out for them.
