Nest Box

Question
I put news paper ball in the nest box another expert said that will work and my birds took about 1/2 of it and took it out side the nest box now its on the bottem of the cage why? i dont think i put to much what should i do does that mean they will have eggs soon? thanks for the help

They're preparing the nest box.  Eventually, they'll probably take all of the paper balls out.  This behavior helps to trigger the instinct to breed.  They'll likely start mating soon, and you if they're successful, you may have eggs soon.  I can't give you an exact date, because there are too many variables, but if everything goes well, you might have eggs within a couple of weeks.
