hi how do i know the side effects if my bird is pregnat?

Birds do not get pregnant. They lay eggs, and there's really no way to tell for sure. Usually there's a lump near her rear the day she lays the eggs and she will be spending a considerable amount of time in the nesting box. For a more detailed answer, read my previous answer to this question.
