Should i put nesting martial in the nesting box or let them lay on the floor of the nesting box?

I don't reccomend putting anything in the nest...they always threw it out when I bred budgies, You can however offer nest matierals in the cage if they want they will bring some into there nest...most often then not they lay there eggs on the floor of the nesting box without problems.
