Answer
Hi, Pushkar.  I just found your post in the question pool.  It may be too late for these babies.  You're GREAT for trying to help these baby birds.

I've cared for MANY baby pigeons, as I raised racing homing pigeons for 12 years.  I don't know what's available where you live, but in the USA, we have baby parrot handfeeding formula available at most pet shops that cater to birds.  You can use this formula to handfeed these baby pigeons using a handfeeding syringe, which should also be available at the same pet shops.  You can also purchase these supplies online by searching for "parrot supplies," "avian handfeeding supplies," check online at www.drsfostersmith.com...many websites sell baby bird handfeeding products.

You can also use human infant formula and an eye dropper, human infant milk, liquid nutritional supplements such as Ensure Plus (or other store brand liquid supplements), Slim Fast...many kinds of nutritional liquid food you can use.  You have to have something to deliver the liquid food down the babies throats into their crops, such as a handfeeding syringe, eye dropper, you can even use a very small spoon, a plastic baggie with a hole in the corner...some method of delivering the food down the bird's throat and into the crop.  Temperature of the food WHEN FED to the bird MUST be about 102-105 degrees F...the same temperature as the baby's bodies.

As the babies grow older, you can feed thicker type liquid food, such as adding human infant cereal or fruit or vegetables to a milk base.  Once they start pecking at items on the ground, you can introduce small grains and water (pigeon grain or wild bird seed).  I've cared for baby pigeons who started pecking at small grains when they were as young as 2 weeks of age.  At that point, you can actually put small grains directly down the bird's throat with your fingertips until the bird's crop is full enough.  When pigeons start eating grains, they must take a drink of water after eating so that the water can help soften up the grains for digestion.  You would have to teach the baby bird how to drink by dipping its beak into some water for a few seconds so the bird learns that it is water.  As long as a baby is eating liquid food, you don't have to provide water, but it doesn't hurt.  Water can also be introduced by the same method as you feed the babies the formula.

If you don't want to get involved with all this, try finding a local pigeon breeder, wildlife rehabilitator, local fish/wildlife service, local humane society, etc., for references as to where you can take these birds for care.

I hope it isn't too late for these babies.  Good luck to you.
