Question
hello ma'am, may i know how does a legume differ from grass?

Answer
Hi Rohit,

Thank you for your question.  Legumes and grasses differ in their physical appearance and in their nutrient quality.  Grasses are longer stemmed single or few-narrow leaf plants with the leaf growing from the plants base.  Grasses prefer to germinate and grow in cooler and more wet climates, and are generally less nutrient dense than legumes.  Legumes are broad leaf multi-foliates with larger and abundant leaves.  Legumes prefer to grow in warmer (more sun) and slightly dryer climates and are more nutrient dense than most grasses.

Thanks, Corlena
