Hi Kimberly!

From what I understand of your question, neither you nor your friend own these horses.....unfortunately, I cannot give training advice to non-owners of problem horses.

I did understand that you are compassionate and want to do right by these young horses.  The only thing I can advise is to have both your parents speak to the owners and make sure that these are appropriate mounts for you and that you two girls will not get hurt.  You girls are in dangerous waters with these difficult and unpredictable horses.

Be careful Good luck and remember to always wear an ASTM/SEI approved helmet!

Answer
Hi Kim!

You said in your follow-up question that you do not own the horses, your friend does.

I understand your situation is agreeable to everyone but, I still cannot give training advice to non-owners of problem horses.

I also think you are very young to be attempting such a big job.  Training a horse is tricky business and I would fear for your safety and the appropriateness of the training the horse(s) is getting.

You need to talk to the adult owners of the horses and make sure all parties concerned understand the risks being undertaken.
