Question
hello sir, how to place the bit correctly in the mouth? can you post me a good picture of bit correctly held in the mouth?

Answer
The bar of the bit should rest in the space between the molars and the forward teeth over the top of the tongue. In the past it was said that the horse should have 1 wrinkle at the corners of the mouth. But current practice is to have the ring of the bit to just barely touch the corner of the mouth. We have found that if the corner of the mouth has a wrinkle in it there would always be pressure from the bit and give no release to the horse.
