Training of 6-7 month foal

Question
I have recently started helping my step-farther in and around our farm.  Unfortunately he works full time and does have sufficient time to work with our new foal and i would like to help.  He is currently 7 months old and i believe i need to start training him asap.
I was wondering if you could give me some step-by-step instructions for beginning this training.  He has a head collar on now and seemed quite happy with it.
Any info or instructions on next step would be hugely appreciated

Hi Karen!

I cannot give training advice to non-owners of the horse in question.  I can say, in the broadest of terms though, that the younger a horse is put into formal ground training the better for all concerned.

Good luck and remember to always wear an ASTM/SEI approved helmet!
