Question
i have a 12 year old walker i would like to teach to park out when i mount him. i am moving his feet forword daily and he is trying to figure out exactly what i want him to do but i think he is about as confused as i am so just wondering if you could give me a hint. thank you      jan

You may want to get an experienced friend or trainer to help you with that problem.  It is hard to fix on your own, much easier when there can be a person on the ground helping.  That way they can help to either keep the horse in place while you mount, or cue the horse to move his feet forward while you are mounting.

Some catch on to it faster than others, but usually once they figure it out they are good with it.  Keep at it, but try having a partner there to help until the horse gets the idea.
