i have a horse he is 10 years old that i am traning he takes bit and puts blanket and saddele on him but ones i go get the girth he starts walking and ones i grab it he goes in circles wen i hold him he was save from a slotter house he is a nice horse its just when you go grab the girth to be able to tight the saddele on him he starts walking on me what should i do to make him stop

Good for you  saving a horse from the slaughter house...............10 yars old is a youngster as horses go and I hope that you both have lots of happy years together.

Now the tricky bit, you say that he will accept a bit and saddle and everything except for the  doing up the girth bit..........I used to have a horse  with the same problem, only he would bite me, and I mean really bite me, he was also saved from salughter so they have that in common.

What I found was best was doing up the girth a hole at a time and just  talking to him quietly and calmly  and then we finally got the girth sorted..........maybe your horse needs the same thing, it does take time but some time and effort taking things slowly now will be a big plus in the future.  Once he realises  he  isn;t going to be hurt  or something nasty happen to him he will be fine, but for now  jsut a hole at a time will be a good thing.

If the walking round  is a problem  try just hitching him with a lead rope to a post or something when you are saddling him up
