Question
I've been riding english/dressage for 4yrs and need a little help. i was hoping you could give me some tips on posting trot bareback. I tend to grip w/my thighs and lean forward causing the horse to canter.

Thanks Rachel.

Answer
heya,
Riding bareback (in my opinion) is one of the nicest things to do when riding. Dont worry too much about feeling a little unstable, with practise youll get used to riding bareback more. Try sitting back a little when going into trot bareback, and if you feel unsteady or feel the need to grip with your thighs, try holding onto the horses mane to steady yourself instead.
 I hope i helped, good luck !
