i saved a wild brumby from the wild.i saved him from a pit.he was stuck in it and it was filling full of water from the flood.i took him home cause he was injured now he wont go back to the wild. so now im looking after him but he only likes me.he runs at the site or sound of someone else. please tell me why you think he likes me. and how do i introdoose him to humans and my other horses wich he also runs from.

I think the reason he's so attached to you is that he's grateful that you saved him.  Horses realize when you do something kind for them, and they have long memories.  I think you've found a friend for life!  If he's corralled somewhere, that's the best way to introduce him to other people.  If he's not contained, it's easy for him to run away rather than face his fear and learn from it.  If you want to introduce other people to him, have them walk quietly up to where he is and offer him some sort of treat (apple, carrot, etc.).  This way, he'll start associating humans with good things.  In terms of introducing him to the other horses, choose your most easy-going horse, and turn him out into the same area with that horse.  That way, they can bond and it's not as overwhelming as being introduced to more than one.  He'll have to work out herd dynamics with the others little by little.  Just be patient and realize that they go through these same issues in the wild when they join a new herd.
