hi l just purchased a 5month old mini he wears a halter and is happy to be lead around but he always tries to bite which he has biten 2 of my children he also this morning started to kick he actually ran for us and tried to kick my daughter when l sent her inside he then came at me lm not sure how to stop this as its a tad bit intimadating when he charges for you l did have him in the backyard when we first got him for 4 nights but the last 2 nights l moved him up to the stable and the attitude he has is a little scary  we have had bear for a week what can l do to keep him settled

if he is a stud geld him and it will make him more calm. when he bites you, flick him on his muzzle. if he still bites you after flicking him for a while smack him. this is a very bad habit. when you go in the pen carry a lead rope with you. if he charges twirl the rope and move him away.teach him to respect your space and have his space. when ever he gets to close move him out with the lead rope. he does this because he wants to play. if you have another mini turn hik out with it and let them play. even a goat will work. it will be his new friend. good luck with your mini.
