Questionhello Lyn, i felt difficult gripping my knees riding a horse wearing polo saddle. is riding same on all types of saddles?
AnswerRohit,
In a word, no. While basically the same there are differences. A big difference between saddles with Western-style trees vs English-type saddles is that on the Western you grip more with you thighs while the English is more lower leg. You also sit in a little different position if riding a forward seat saddle built for jumping vs a saddle for dressage/equitation riding.
Riding different types of saddles will make you a better rider.
