Question
hi there could U tell me i have a 12-2hh pony cob she is about 14yrs i have been doing a little jumping with her on lounge and ridden over jumps aswell she has been doing about 2ft jumps how high do U think she will be abel to jump as she is a big bone pony and with her age and  build im not sure so can u help please thanks

Answer
hi claire,
with her age and hight i wouldnt jump her over 3ft. she may have strong bones but its not the bones that get affected buy jumping. its the tendons. i would keep her under 3ft to keep her sound. if you jump her 3 ft and she does it good then a few weeks or so later she refuses then it is to much for her. lower the jump, it is putting to much strain on her legs. good luck with your jumping. if you know anybody that is looking for a jumper let me know im selling my filly. thanks
