Question
HI I HAVE A TWO YEAR JOURNEY AND A SIX YEAR OLD KINGSTON WE JUST GOT THE 6 YEAR OLD AND HAVE RAISED THE 2 YEAR OLD BUT MY TWO YEAR OLD IS JUST MEAN HE IS ALWAYS BITTING MY HORSE KINGSTON AND WILL NOT LET HIM GET VERY MUCH FEED AND HE IS PUSHY HE HATES WHEN I AM BRUSHING AND PAYING ATTENTION TO KINGSTON HE TRIES TO GET BETWEEN US. THIS MAKES MY HORSE KINGSTON SCARED AND SPOOKY HE IS JUMPY ALLOT OF THE TIME AND HE REALLY IS A SWEET HART. BUT KINGSTON REALLY DOES NOT LIKE TO BE ALONE OR I WOULD SEPARATE THEM FOR A WHILE I AM NEW AT ALL THIS HORSE STUFF AND JUST WANTED TO KNOW IS THIS NORMAL IS JOURNEY PLAYING IF SO KINGSTON IS NOT FOND OF IT WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Answer
Yes, this is normal behavior.  The two year old isn't so much playing as he is displaying his leadership of the "herd".  The herd, as I am interpreting, is Journey as the leader, you in the middle, and Kingston as the bottom end of the pecking order.  When feeding your horses try leaving space between them.  Ideally a horse should be at least three yards away from another horse if there is no wall for a barrier.

When grooming, for your own safety, it is best to separate the horses.

As for Kingston not liking the situation, you might be surprised.  In the wild, a herd follows the oldest mare.  The oldest mare bites, kicks, and squeals.  The herd follows this bully as they feel safe from potential predators.  If Kingston is in a field and didn't like being bit, then he could always walk away.
