QUESTION: madam, how come you are saying exact 32months, why not before 32months, how you are saying they shouldnt be galloped before that, what all they lack before 32months, what all body parts are yet to be grown fully for the horse to gallop well. madam, our baby horses are sold to the racecourse in the month of mid april i.e when they are 27months old. are lunged and given all ground working in the schools and 1km trotting pens upto 31months. in the month of september, they slowly come into training track when they are 32months. the new season for babies open at our track in the month of november, i.e when they are 34months.

Answer
they should not be ran before this because their legs are not fully developed. their knees are not fully developed either and strain on them would  cause many injuries. its like putting a backpack full of bricks on a 2 year old baby human and saying run around. you cant o it because their body cannot handle it. when a horse is 32 months old then they are two and a half years old and their legs are developed enough to withstand the strain of racing. however a horses legs are not fully developed until they are four years old.
