hello Dorothy. can you suggest me the best book for beginner show jumpers? it should inspire him/her to reach top position.

Read from front to back:

GIVE YOUR HORSE A CHANCE, by Colonel d'Endrody
HORSEMANSHIP,          by Waldemar Seunig
RIDING AND JUMPING,       by William Steinkraus

Read them in order. Read Riding and Jumping last.

These three books will answer each and every question you have on jumping and dressage.  Because for jumping you will also need training in dressage up to 3rd level.
