white hooves softer than black

hello sir. i believe that white hooves are softer than the black ones. am i right?

Not so much softer, but more translucent to heat & light.
They will seem to dry out quicker and chip easier.  That being said...
It's also in the genetics of the horse !!  Many, QH, Paints, Pintos & Arabian
horses have very good white hooves !!!
