Answer
HEY KRISTA...THANKS FOR YOUR QUESTION...

I CAN ONLY GO BY WHAT YOU TELL ME???

You have a 6month old filly...Baby not colt. Colts are male.
I understand you DON'T want to put her down. That's fine. But..You say she is breaking down
and has bared so much weight on the other front that she "quote" "she DOES NOT walk on either
front leg".

What can you do to make her more comfortable..."quote" "she walks and runs"  ????????

Naturally...I'm confused by what you are telling me??
I would say first...if you care alot about her, which sounds like you do...

Find a vet and qualified farrier who does lameness problems. Who has done these problems before.
You can feed certain supplements to speed growth of the hoof and make it stronger.
You may have to work on the filly once a month to achieve any change, which can get expensive.

If I knew what part of Texas you are from, I work all over Texas and can recommend many veterinarians and quite a few farriers with alot of knowledge like myself.
I can get you help if you want it.

Best To You !!
