trotting on road

hello sir, would you advise me to trot a horse on the road(shod)? is road good or bad for horse hooves?

Normally I would say No !!  The concussion in time
"can" cause lameness issues & put undue
wear on joints.
Many horses in Europe & your country are "used"
to the hard roads & doesn't seem to bither them the same
as in the USA.
Try & see what happens ??
