how frequently to apply iodine solution

hello. how frequently to apply iodine solution on the sole of the hoof? my requirement is the horse shouldn't get feel ouchy when stepping on stones.

HELLO ROHIT...
I Have answered this before. IF Necessary...You can apply everyother day, BUT You also
run the risk of "overdrying" the hoof capsule.
Harding the sole WILL NOT make her resistent to rocks !!
She/He may have a shallow sole & cannot take being or working on rocks or hard ground !!???
