Orphaned foal Hooves

Question
Thank you so much for your response. Now that I know there is a issue I really studied how she stands. I was observing her eating last night and the best way I can describe how the back hooves look is almost like a founder stance. She is not actually rocking back like a founder stance but the way the hooves are gives that illusion. And its backs only, fronts look totally normal. I have been racking my brain trying to recall everything the farrier told me and seems like he said something to the effect that her hooves/feet have rolled? And that the bulb is too close to the ground? Does any of that make sense to you? And I have left him a message to call me again and tell me while I am calm what the issue is...I just haven't heard from him yet. Again thank you so much!

Answer
HEY MISSY...

The hooves have "rolled" does not sound exactly right. But I may be not understanding.
I do understand the "founder'd stance"...but as you say...but the front look real good.

If I could see a digital picture then maybe I could nail it for you ?!?! The bulbs being too close to the ground tells me that maybe more toe needs to be removed with level heels.

Also if your farrier has experience with glue on shoes/Dallmer cuffs
or Glu-shoes by Mustad...they can really help with improper angles
and crooked or deviated limbs. Just a thought !!

Thanks again for your time...
