Question
I just recently got a red foot cherry head tortoise and I have been doing a lot of research but I can't seem to find what that ideal humidity is for her. I was also wondering what bedding is the best because I keep getting different opinions depending on the website. One last question (and sorry for asking so many) is what types of live plants can I get for her and where can you get organic plants? Thank you.

Answer
The consensus is to aim for 80% humidity, but to not stress over it if it slips below about 60% sometimes.

I like a bedding mix of sand, loam or leaf mulch, and shredded clean bark (cyprus, coconut, Bed-a-Beast). I soak the bark well before mixing everything. It is not the only workable option, however.

Live plants? Anything it can eat or at least is not poisonous to them. Try the list in http://www.tortoise.org for help.

Organic plants? If you mean chemical free plants, try a health food store or organic foods store.

My favorite care site for these is http://www.austinsturtlepage.com
