Question
Hi How long can the red ear water turtle eggs go before they are no good. My turtle lay the eggs on or around the 12th of july and now it is the 7th of nov. The egg are developing and there are baby inside I check one and the baby is complete and still developing but there is still yolk. Do I just leave them and when they are ready they will come out or what. Thank you for your help

Answer
You should leave them be and not turn them. If you have turned them you will kill them. There is going to be yolk because this is what they eat until they are ready to emerge. Your temps were probably too low if they took this long, or they may have died already if you kept them wrong or moved them. The one that you opened could still live if it was not turned and left in the egg to continue to grow.

You need to double check your temps and humidity and do some websearching for egg incubation. There are plenty of websites out there which discuss hatching reptile eggs.
