Yellow- Bellied Slider is Sick?

Question
I bought what I believe to be a 4 month old Yellow bellied slider about 2 months ago but I'm begining to get slightly worried about her.

About a month ago I noticed she wasn't eatting much if at all and seemed very lathargic.  I feed her everyday with dried fish, krill etc as well as give her pellets but I end up having to take most of it out of her tank after a few hour because shes not eating it.

Last week I picked her up to clean out her tank and noticed that the sides of her shell were soft.  I figured it must be a calcium deficiency or a problem with the environment so I bought some water tonic stuff and some different food that the pet shop guy said contained calcium.

The problem is shes still not eating or moving aroun and I'm wondering at this stage should I take her to the vet or try something else.

Answer
It is likely that the basic cares are not being met- habitat size, temps, etc.

Check out the cares against a good site like http://www.redearslider.com or http://www.austinsturtlepage.com

If that does not help, try the forums at http://www.turtleforum.com

Good luck!
