Ball Python Other Pets

Hi
I don't have my Ball python yet but planning to get one but i do have a Golden Retriever (4 to 6 months old)and Two Cats (both about one year old- Brother and sister) anyway do you think it is a good idea to get the Ball Python because sometimes my cats sleep in my room and i want to keep my Ball Python in my room. If so how do i get my other pets from hurting this poor little guy once i get him!

Hello and thanks for your question. I have two snakes and two cats and it works just fine. Just make sure you get a good cage with a lid that locks down because snakes are escape artists and that's the only thing that may cause a problem. As long as you have a good locking lid everything will work out. My cats never bother the cage they just like to watch :). Let me know if you have any other questions.
