female veiled chameleon3-5mnths

she is digging, at different spots, some on edges, and some under feeder bowl. the soil is eco w/coconut fiber it is moist, it is in a glass w/screen top,i'm waiting on 18x18x36 fresh air cage,and i'm wondering what i might need extra .   thnxz

I think that you may have a gravid (pregnant) female and she is looking for a site to lay the eggs.  I would highly suggest contacting http://www.tikitikireptiles.com as they specialize in chameleons and are very highly recommended when it comes to Chameleons and their care.  Just let them know that John F Taylor from reptileapartment.com recommended them when you contact them.  You can also listen to some podcasts we did with Ryan Jarosek at http://www.reptilelivingroom.com as well for some help.
