Question
Our bearded dragon is very slow, and not eating. Is it the time of year when dragons slow down for the winter, our should i be alarmed ? Our Lizard is approx 25 cm long ( head to tail ). The encolsure has water and a heat rock. He normal dines on fresh crickets.

Answer
Hi,  Ur bearded should always be eating!!!  Yes they do slow down a bit during colder months but they continue to eat.  Is he drinking water?  Perhaps incorporate some pedialyte into the water to replenish electrolytes.  If ur bearded does not start eating soon, it is recommended that u take him to a herp vet as soon as possible.  Good luck with ur little guy!!
