Current Problem - The current problem you are concerned about.

My chameleon seems to have 2 water filled blisters, one is located on top of his right paw and the other one is on the top of his right foot. I first noticed it last night while misting and I thought it was just a built up of water droplets from the misting, but then this morning I noticed it is in fact a blister. He does try to get really close to the lights so maybe it is heat blister? He is otherwise very healthy, drinks and has a good appetite. His right foot does seem a little sore, He holds it out off the branch. I have moved lights higher up above the cage and changed the 100 w basking bulb to a 40 watt bulb. He is sleeping right now. I will try and get some pictures tomorrow. Please give me some advice on what to do next.Thanks.

Answer
Well first of all, I want to thank you for such a detailed description prior to your question this allows me to quickly and easily answer your question without a lot of back and forth. As far as your question is concerned. You have already done everything I would recommend for the Cham now it's a matter of watching and making sure when the blister heals that it doesn't become infected. Other than that you see to me to be doing everything right.
