sorry to keep emailing you but i kinda have lots of questions. Do you know what popping a ball python is? if so can you supply me with some brief info about the process?

Please ask as many questions as you like.
Popping a Ball Python is sometimes used to determine the sex of the snake. You turn the snake over and gently bend the tail down. This will cause the hemipenis to POP out if a male. This can be very dangerous to the snake as you can go to far and break the snakes back.  you can also cause a situation where the snake cannot retract the hemipenis and at that point you are in need of a good Vet. I never do this as I prefer to use Probes that are designed for this purpose and are more accurate anyway. Edmund Brown [ReptileEd]
