egg box

hi what sort of matirial or substants could i put in my egg laying box? ,and my leopard geckos are hideing in there hide together nearly all of the time what could this mean? thanks.

thank you for your question.
You can used unfertilized soil or coconut fibre substrate (Eco Earth, Forest Bedding) for the egg box, those keep moist for a long time.
Do you have other hiding places for the geckos and are those places kept moist? If not, that might be the reason why they stay there.
