Question
i have what i think is a female dragon at home for about 2 weeks now n bought another to-day which i think is a male.both are around 3 weeks old.when i introduced them they began fighting with the resident female being the main aggressor.the little male seems scared of her.i have put a clear screen in the middle of the tank to seperate them and try to see if they can get used to each other.should i let them fight a little n hope they will stop or completely seperate them?also if i keep them together now will they breed when mature? please help!

Answer
Bearded dragons are by nature territorial.  A resident male will accept a female in his enclosure, but not the opposite.  And you did not quarantine, which is a big mistake.  It's better for both to each have their own home. In two weeks, take both (in separate carriers) to a good reptile veterinarian to make sure neither has parasite issues. Also he will be better at sexing them.
Karl, when beardies hit 6 months old they hit puberty, but they will not physically mature till 18 months old, keep them in separate but equal housing till then.  If they grow so that the male is at least 20" and the female 18" you may consider breeding if that is your intention, but make sure you only hatch what you can provide good homes for.  It is expensive, you will not make money on it, in fact, you'll lose money on it.
If you bought them at 3 weeks old, then it had to be from a pet store as no ethical breeder woold sell a baby younger than 6 weeks old and 6" long whichever comes last.  Please refer to my other answers to other beardie questions regarding husbandry, such tiny hatchlings are going to need optimal housing and food.
