Can Dragons have warts?

22 14:30:56

Question
I've had my Dragon for four years now, since he was a hatchling. But when I got him out today to give him a bath I noticed he has about six small yellow sores under his tail between his hind legs. A few of the sores almost seem to be warts. They don't seem to bother him, but he does seem to be more moody. What are these sores? How can I help my dragon, Inigo? I live in the country and we have well water that I give him sometimes, could this have something to do with it?

Answer
Hello Jessica, I am going to assume you are talking about a Bearded Dragon not a water dragon or other type correct?

It sounds to me like it may be "Yellow Fungus" which needs medical attention and medication. Take him to the vet for a proper diagnosis and treatment.

I will include links with information and causes about this fungus and pictures so you can determine if this may be it. If it does look like it then take him to the vet as soon as possible. If not then let me know and I can look into other possible answers.

It can be fatal so be sure to check in with a vet as soon as possible. Best of luck to you and your dragon
