Red tail will not eat.

We have a 15-20 year old. We have had him since VERY young. Every winer he
would stop eating for a while. He has not eaten for 6-7 month. He climbs liek
he is looking for food which is what he had always done before. We have offered.
rats and mice. He? is loosing weight and I am very concerned. Thank you Peggy

Peggy, first of all congrats on doing such a great job!  I believe the record for a boa is 40+ so it's not like he's topped out.  Try something different a small rabbit or a chicken maybe.  Anorexia is a symptom not a disease so if he doesn't go for the "new" food very soon I would get him into a qualified herptile vet.
