Hello Tracie
I think I am all set now, I got the Solar Glo ( Exo Terra)
the Ceramic Heat Emitter on one side  with a basking stone
( she just does not come out of the hiding stone)
and only the heating pad ( will only turn on at night)
on the other side.
I will keep an eye on the temperature now and hope all will
be good now, like I said I hope she will come out more often
.
She still does not touch the food if I put some Calci-max on it, anything I can do about that?
Thanks again for all your help, I think some pet-stores
should not be allowed to sell these animals if they don't know
what they are talking about.

Hello Karin,

It sounds like you have it all setup now!  I know, the lighting is a pain to get all correct.  I think the reason that she is not coming out much right now is due to all of the changes that have been going on in her tank.  :-))  They don't like change really.  
How are the temps doing?  
Keep an eye on her.  If she doesn't start coming out of the hiding area, you may need to make it to where she can't go in there for awhile to encourage her to bask more.  
Hm, she doesn't like the calcium supplement on her food?  Does she "see" the powder?  If so, maybe mix it up in the food so it doesn't stick out to her.  She wont even know it is in the food.  
Yeah the petstores are somewhat irresponsible about their knowledge alot of times, so it is frustrating.
